Terms and Conditions
These Terms govern your access to and use of the Vozz App (mobile application), and any
information, text, graphics, photos or other materials uploaded, downloaded or appearing on
the Vozz App.
You can find everything you need to know about us, Edge App Ltd, and our products on our
website, and in the Vozz App before you subscribe.
1. Definitions
The following definitions apply in these Terms and Conditions:
• Vozz App means the mobile communication platform developed and provided by Edge App
Ltd, available for download at App Store and Google Play
• Alumnus/a means a person who has Alumni status having completed a qualifying programme
and paying all fees due to the School in respect of his/her qualifying programme, or who has
had Honorary Alumni Status conferred on him/her by the School.
• Student means current degree seeking Student or participant on an Executive Education
programme;
• Member means:
- Alumni, Students, faculty, staff, professionals who are Members of any community on
Vozz App; and
- any other persons who are connected with the Community at any given time and who are
authorised to access Vozz App;
• Admin means a Member community moderator who is also an authorised user of Vozz App;
• Community means a group within the Vozz App (and called a community in the Vozz App),
which Members join and can relate to schools, universities, professional groups or as
otherwise created within the Vozz App.
• Member Terms and Conditions means these terms and conditions of use for Vozz App, as
amended from time to time;
• Content means any information, text, graphics, photos or other materials uploaded,
downloaded or appearing on the app.
2. Service Provider
This service is operated under contract by Edge App Ltd.
Edge App Ltd will process personal data strictly for the purposes of operating this service and
the Vozz App, in accordance with our Privacy Policy which is available at
https://vozz.ai/privacypolicy.
We may reject a request for subscription or access to the Vozz App if we cannot verify your
status within the Community.
The Terms and Conditions set out general principles for acceptable behaviour in connection
with your use of the Vozz App. To the extent that these Terms and Conditions do not address a
particular aspect of usage of the Vozz App (or any associated or connected platform), you must
act in such a way as to:
• observe Student and Alumni Codes of Conduct
• maintain professionalism within the Vozz App and broadly throughout the Community
• maintain and build trust within the Community
• respect the privacy of Members of the Community; and
• observe the confidentiality of information and materials supplied on the Vozz App.
Failure to act in accordance with the above may, at our sole discretion, result in removal and/or
suspension of your Vozz App account.
In consideration of you agreeing to abide by these terms, we hereby grants to you a
non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Vozz App on these terms for so long as you
have an account and a Subscription with us.
You confirm and agree that you will install and use the Vozz App for your professional and
networking purposes only, in order to make professional connections throughout your
Community.
We may update or require you to update the Vozz App.
3. Contacting Members of the Community through direct messaging
You may contact Members of the Community whose details are available on Vozz App for
networking and business purposes only if you adhere strictly to the following conditions:
A. You have first properly researched which of those persons are likely to be interested in your
networking and business approach and that your approach is specifically targeted to those
persons.
B. These persons have indicated that they are open for networking, mentoring or both on their
profile via the networking status indicator.
C. You must only make your approach once and follow up with the recipient once, therefore
you must not make any further approach unless, or until, the recipient replies to you.
Failure to act in accordance with the above may, at our sole discretion, result in removal and/or
suspension of your Vozz App account.
4. Prohibitions
When using Vozz App, you must not:
A. text, post, upload or otherwise transmit any material, the publication, dissemination, use or
possession of which infringes the rights of any person or which is unlawful in any other
respect (including but not limited to inciting racial hatred); or is abusive to any other
Member of the Community, defamatory or obscene; or unreasonably restricts or inhibits the
use and enjoyment of Vozz App by any Member of the Community;
B. prior to sending any commercial messages you must (i) first have properly researched
whether the individual is likely to be interested in the commercial messages you intend to
send, (ii) follow the same approach as is required in section (4) above, (iii) accompany any
commercial messages by a 'declaration of interests', that is, a truthful and descriptive
declaration of how the poster is related to the business or service mentioned, and (iv) only
send direct commercial messages to Members who have indicated that they are open to
networking, and would reasonably expect to receive such messages, and (v) act at all times
in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the relevant Data Protection and Privacy
Legislation in the UK;
C. text, post, upload or otherwise transmit any unsolicited advertising, promotional materials,
"junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or any other form of solicitation or
commercial exploitation, save as explicitly permitted by these Terms and Conditions;
D. knowingly post, upload or otherwise transmit any material that contains software viruses or
any other computer code, files or programmes designed to interrupt, restrict, destroy, limit
the functionality of or compromise the integrity of any computer software or hardware or
telecommunications equipment;
E. transmit or re-circulate any material obtained from Vozz App to any third party, other than
an authorised Member of the Community;
F. remove the copyright or trade mark notice(s) from any copies of any material made in
accordance with these Terms and Conditions;
G. use the Vozz App in any way that might bring your business school or university into
disrepute;
H. act in a way which does not comply with all applicable laws and regulations, to include the
rules and regulations of the Community;
I. attempt to copy, modify, duplicate, create derivative works from, frame, mirror, republish,
download, display, transmit, or distribute all or any portion of the Vozz App in any form or
media or by any means;
J. attempt to de-compile, reverse compile, disassemble, reverse engineer or otherwise reduce
to human-perceivable form all or any part of the Vozz App, or in any way access all or any
part of the Vozz App in order to build a product or service which competes with the Vozz
App; or
K. license, sell, rent, lease, transfer, assign, distribute, display, disclose, or otherwise
commercially exploit, or otherwise make the Services and/or Documentation available to
any third party.
Undertaking any prohibited activities may, at our sole discretion, result in removal and/or
suspension of your Vozz App account.
5. Log-in security
When accessing Vozz App, you must observe the following log-in security rules:
A. You are absolutely responsible for the security of your password. Do not share it with
anyone. Do not write it down or otherwise record it in an insecure place.
B. You are absolutely responsible for the security of your unique authorisation code used to
join the Community on Vozz App. Do not share it with anyone. Do not write it down or
otherwise record it in an insecure place.
C. Do not allow others to use your account to access any Vozz App. If you think that the
security of your account may be compromised in any way, you must report it to
help@vozz.ai.
6. Data security and privacy
In respect of any personal data about fellow Members of the Community which you may
access through Vozz App, you must observe the following data security rules:
A. This data is confidential and may only be used in accordance with these Terms and
Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
B. Personal data must not be disclosed to any third party unless the data subject has given
their specific permission and only then in accordance with our Privacy Policy the provisions
of relevant UK Data Protection legislation.
C. You are absolutely responsible for the security of any accessed personal data. If printed or
recorded by hand or voice, you must not leave it in an insecure and/or public place. If
downloaded, it must be to a computer or other device whose security you are in charge of,
and it must be secure within that computer or device.
D. Data files must not be left unprotected. If you are not sure how to secure data then do not
download. If you download data onto a shared or networked computer, in addition to
assuming responsibility for the security of that data while you have access to that
computer, you must also ensure that the data is erased when you cease to have access to
that computer.
E. You must not create a database (electronic or otherwise) that includes material downloaded
or otherwise obtained from Vozz App.
F. The Community Admins may use the user data from the profile page to update other
internal business school and university databases.
G. You must at all times follow any instructions received from us in respect of any personal
data you have acquired through the Vozz App, including any requests to permanently delete
such personal data.
For information on how we hold and process your data please see our Privacy Policy. By
agreeing to these Terms and Conditions you also agree to comply with our Privacy Policy and
all relevant Data Protection Regulations.
7. Your obligations and acknowledgments
A. You are responsible for keeping your current personal contact details accurate and up to
date.
B. You acknowledge that due to the nature of the Vozz App and the objective to share ideas,
experiences and networks, the information provided by Vozz App Members is not reviewed
or checked for accuracy by us; we therefore have no liability or responsibility for the user
uploaded Content.
C. You are responsible for checking the accuracy of relevant facts and opinions given on Vozz
App before entering into any commitment based on them. You acknowledge that if you
enter into any agreement with a third party as a result of any opportunity of which you
become aware on Vozz App, neither your business school or university nor Edge App Ltd is
liable for, and takes responsibility for, any contract entered into by you and the third party.
D. You acknowledge that if you submit any material or Content to Vozz App you understand
and accept that the Community may make use of that material in accordance with these
Terms and Conditions and with relevant Data Protection legislation.
E. You acknowledge that all intellectual property rights in the Vozz App anywhere in the world
belong to us or our licensors, that rights in the Vozz App are licensed (not sold) to you, and
that you have no rights in, or to, the Vozz App other than the right to use them in
accordance with these terms.
F. You acknowledge that you have no right to have access to any Vozz App in source code
form.
8. Edge App Ltd's obligations
A. We will endeavour to use appropriate encryption technology to protect your
communications on the platform.
B. We do not guarantee that your use of Vozz App will be free from error, uninterrupted, or that
the Content will be accurate and up-to-date.
C. We are not responsible for any delays, delivery failures, or any other loss or damage
resulting from the transfer of data over communications networks and facilities, including
the internet, and you acknowledge that the Vozz App may be subject to limitations, delays
and other problems inherent in the use of such communications facilities.
9. User-to-user communication and sharing
A. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users.
B. We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor disputes between you and other
users and to restrict or suspend your account if we determine, to our sole discretion, that
doing so is necessary to enforce our Terms and Conditions.
C. We cannot guarantee that other users will not use the ideas and information that you share
to and/or through our Services. Therefore, if you have an idea or information that you would
like to keep confidential or don’t want others to use, or that is subject to third party rights
that may be infringed by your sharing it, do not post it to and/or through our Services. We
are not responsible for another’s misuse or misappropriation of any content or information
you post.
10. Complaints procedure
A. Vozz App users can report any message as inappropriate that they believe to contravene
these Terms and Conditions by emailing help@vozz.ai.
B. If you consider that another Member of the Community has breached these Terms and
Conditions in their dealings with you, you should first seek to resolve this matter informally
by approaching them directly to explain the basis of your concern.
C. If your informal approach does not render a satisfactory result (normally, an apology), then
you may lodge a formal complaint that Vozz App will pass on to the Community Admins
and this complaint will be referred to an appropriate Member of Community staff for initial
consideration. The formal complaint must be in writing and clearly state:
• who is raising the complaint;
• the identity of the person about whom the complaint is being made;
• the nature of the complaint;
• why the complainant considers the behaviour is not in accordance with these Terms
and Conditions;
• any supporting evidence; and
• whether an informal resolution was attempted first.
D. Complaints should be sent to help@vozz.ai.
11. Termination
A. Ending your own Subscription
This contract and your subscription will depend on how long you wish for the Subscription
to last, when you want to end your subscription you can simply delete your account by
emailing help@vozz.ai.
Once we confirm we have received your request to delete your account, your account will
be deleted and no longer available immediately.
B. Suspending your Subscription
We can suspend the subscription. We do this to:
- Vozz App to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements; deal with
technical problems or make minor technical changes;
- update the or
- make changes to the Vozz App.
We will contact you in advance to tell you we're suspending supply, unless the problem is
urgent or an emergency.
C. Cancelling your Subscription
We can stop providing access to the Vozz App and cancel any subscription you have with
us. We let you know at least one week in advance.
12. Indemnities
You agree to keep Edge App Ltd and the School fully indemnified against all actions, claims,
losses, damages and costs (whether paid by way of settlement or otherwise) suffered or
incurred by Edge App Ltd or the School and arising directly or indirectly from any breach
(proven or alleged) by you of any of these Terms and Conditions.
13. Disclaimers
We exclude, in so far as it is legally possible, all liability and responsibility for any damages
including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential damages, damages for loss of
opportunity or chance, or any damages whatsoever arising from use or loss of use, data, or
profits, whether in action of contract, negligence or other tortious action, arising out of, or in
connection with:
A. any information on Vozz App or the use of that information; or
B. the misuse or loss of data or information which you submit to Vozz App;
C. any viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, restrict,
destroy, limit the functionality of or compromise the integrity of any computer software or
hardware or telecommunications equipment or other material transmitted with Vozz App.
14. Severance
If any of these Terms and Conditions are determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise
unenforceable, it will be severed and deleted from the Terms and Conditions and the remaining
Terms and Conditions will survive, remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding
and enforceable.
15. Delays
We might not immediately chase you for not doing something or for doing something you're
not allowed to, but that doesn’t mean we can't do it later.
16. Choice of law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes
arising from matters relating to Vozz App, these Terms and Conditions, or any services that we
provide to you, will be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and
Wales.
By joining the Community on and accessing Vozz App, you are accepting these Terms and
Conditions.

B. the misuse or loss of data or information which you submit to Vozz App;
C. any viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, restrict,
destroy, limit the functionality of or compromise the integrity of any computer software or
hardware or telecommunications equipment or other material transmitted with Vozz App.
14. Severance
If any of these Terms and Conditions are determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise
unenforceable, it will be severed and deleted from the Terms and Conditions and the remaining
Terms and Conditions will survive, remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding
and enforceable.
15. Delays
We might not immediately chase you for not doing something or for doing something you're
not allowed to, but that doesn’t mean we can't do it later.
16. Choice of law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes
arising from matters relating to Vozz App, these Terms and Conditions, or any services that we
provide to you, will be exclusively subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and
Wales.
By joining the Community on and accessing Vozz App, you are accepting these Terms and
Conditions.
